UITA October Industry Breakfast to Have European Focus


SALT LAKE CITY, September 28, 2005 – “IT Security Progress in Europe and the Surprising Impact on U.S. Technology Companies” will be discussed by a recognized authority on the European Union, Thomas Schuck, Thursday, October 6, at 7:30 a.m. in the Arizona Room of the Little America, 500 South Main Street in Salt Lake City.

Schuck is CEO of gwSaar - Saarland Economic Promotion Corporation. Saarland Germany is an international center of business located in the center of the European market and boasts a variety of international businesses and research institutes from Ford Motor Company and Intel to the Max-Planck Institute for Computer Science and German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence. Mr. Schuck has held a variety of leadership roles promoting economic development in Germany and has degrees in economics and technical engineering.
