UITA February Industry Breakfast to Focus on Legislative Update

SALT LAKE CITY, February 8, 2006 – UITA Trustee and Utah House Majority Leader Jeff Alexander will join Senate President John Valentine and House Speaker Greg Curtis to discuss the most pressing technology issues on Utah’s Capitol Hill on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, at 7:30 a.m. in Ballroom B of the Little America Hotel, 500 South Main Street in Salt Lake City.

“As the state’s premiere technology association, UITA is enthused to host this event with Legislative leaders who are working with us to advance issues related to the Utah technology industry,” said Richard Nelson, UITA president and CEO. “There are a number of legislative issues pending in the 2006 session that directly impact technology, such as the USTAR Economic Development Initiative.
